After being forced to leave Wano Country by Red-Haired Shanks, it is uncertain whether Admiral Ryokugyu will return to the Navy Headquarters or venture elsewhere.
In my opinion, Green Bull, or Ryokugyu, will not return to the Navy Headquarters or the Holy Land of Mary Geoise. This Admiral still has unfinished duties to fulfill.
I believe that the next destination for Green Bull will be the island known as Egghead. In Chapter 1073, through the revelations of former Rock Pirates member Miss Buckingham Stussy, it was revealed that prior to arriving in Wano Country, Admiral Ryokugyu made a stop at the island where Weevil, a former member of the Seven Warlords, was causing chaos after seeking assistance from higher-ranking figures. This may explain why it took seven days for the Admiral to appear after the conclusion of the battle in Wano Country.
Furthermore, the fact that Ryokugyu uses flower petals as a propeller for flying indicates that their movement speed may not be swift. Miss Buckingham Stussy also informed Marco that if he wants to know whether Weevil is truly the son of Whitebeard or not, he should inquire with Vegapunk. This suggests that Admiral Ryokugyu may have imprisoned Weevil and wants to uncover his true lineage. While Ryokugyu may not be personally concerned about this matter, the connection is intriguing and could lead the Admiral to appear at Egghead.
However, simply imprisoning Weevil wouldn’t be enough to justify Ryokugyu’s presence at Egghead; there must be something significant and truly important happening there. I believe there are two important reasons for this.
Firstly, it involves the presence of Monkey D. Luffy.
In Wano Country, it is evident that Admiral Ryokugyu has a singular focus on Monkey D. Luffy, although the specific mission of Aramaki is unclear.
During the Marineford Summit War two years ago, we witnessed how Akainu acted relentlessly to eliminate Monkey D. Luffy. As a fan of Akainu, Ryokugyu must certainly be aware of those events. This indicates that Ryokugyu shares the same ruthless determination as Akainu, and upon arriving in Wano, the Admiral has set a goal that they will go to any lengths to achieve.
At this point, it seems that the purpose is not just to earn praise from their superior, Akainu, but goes beyond that. It suggests that despite two years having passed since the Marineford Summit War, the impact still lingers. Akainu continues to pay special attention to Monkey D. Luffy and his crew, harboring a desire to eliminate him. The reason for this could be a grudge between Akainu and Dragon, or it may simply be because Akainu has foresight and recognizes the danger Luffy poses.
However, Aramaki is also an Admiral, a direct protector of the Celestial Dragons, and someone who highly reveres them. Therefore, when Akainu, the other Admirals, and Kizaru realize the danger posed by Luffy and his actions, it is certain that Aramaki would also perceive that and possibly act even more vigorously.
Especially when Luffy, the most dangerous pirate in One Piece, is accompanied by Dr. Vegapunk, the greatest intellect in One Piece, it becomes a deadly combination for the World Government.
In my opinion, the most crucial reason for Ryokugyu going to Egghead is to protect the Celestial Dragons. During the Reverie Conference in the Holy Land of Mary Geoise, there were two Admirals and CP0 present, yet the Sabo group managed to rescue Kuma and escape after intense fighting. This incident raises doubts about whether Admiral Kizaru alone can ensure the safety of Saint Jaygarcia Saturn. Therefore, it is highly likely that an Admiral fanatically devoted to the Celestial Dragons like Ryokugyu will soon arrive at Egghead.
The presence of Monkey D. Luffy, the connection to Vegapunk, and the need to protect the Celestial Dragons all point to Egghead being the next destination for Admiral Ryokugyu. The island holds significant importance and may hold answers to the mysteries surrounding Vegapunk, Weevil’s true lineage, and potential dangers posed by Luffy and his alliance.
